The other day, Nintendo's chief manager Shigeru Miyamoto (Shigeru Miyamoto) said that the future Wii console is not planned as supporting 3D functions. This goes against the rumors, published earlier, about the three-dimensional perspectives of the device. In an interview with the German magazine Spiegel, Miyamoto said that it would take some time until the household mastered 3D-TVs, on the basis of which the gaming system will work.
He also noted that the situation with 3DS is completely different, and no additional equipment for games in three dimensions should be bought to the console. After 20 years of work on this technology, the company has finally managed to create gadgets that do not require glasses.
Miyamoto also claims that the company is not going to use 3D as a trick to sell more games and consoles. "At the moment, many players are having trouble moving from 2D to 3D," he says.
