The recently announced PlayStation Phone may be tied to a new gaming platform called Z-System, as reported by foreign sources. This name was placed on the status panel of the prototype, a photo of which appeared on the network. However, according to Engadget, the domain z-system.com now belongs to Sony Ericsson.
The same manufacturer owns the trademark of the same name with all the relevant permits in the United States and the Benelux countries. The documents state that the Z-System is associated with "software for interactive interaction or playing electronic video games," and not with the hardware.
The device, which may be named Zeus, is expected on the Android 2.x platform, although v3.0 is not excluded. Plus, one should expect Go-style control buttons and a 1GHz processor. The diagonal of the display will be either 3.7 or 4.1 inch.
