If you believe that Samsung has nothing to do with video games, then you are mistaken. The Korean company decided to try its hand at a new field and introduced its own cloud gaming service, called “ Samsung Cloud Gaming ”.
The service was developed jointly with Gaikai, a leading provider of cloud-based video game distribution systems. Samsung Cloud Gaming allows you to run video games directly on Samsung LED 7000 series 2012 TV panels and Smart TVs. Unfortunately, at the first stage, the service will be available only to US residents.
Does this mean that from now on casual games will be delivered through the TV in the living room? It is also interesting to know which controllers will support Smart TV. It is unlikely that in the near future Samsung will be able to press the game console. But in the future, perhaps.
