Company PowerA , specializing in the production of controllers and accessories for game consoles, announces its first Bluetooth-compatible controller for mobile devices based on Android. The premiere of the novelty will be held next week in Los Angeles at the E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) exhibition.
MOGA is equipped with two analog joysticks, side control buttons and a sliding center console for fixing any mobile phone, regardless of size. The front panel of the game controller is made of glossy black plastic, and the back has a ribbed rubberized surface for comfortable grip.
MOGA works with the MOGA Pivot application, which is available for free download on the Google Play online store. After installation, the program scans your phone for the presence of games that are compatible with the controller and organizes them. MOGA Pivot not only monitors the replenishment of the list of purchased games, but also automatically downloads patches for already installed applications. Games compatible with the controller can be found in a special online store created on the basis of Google Play, as well as in the Play Store, where they will be marked with special signs indicating compatibility.
Currently, PowerA has 14 games in its portfolio, including Duke Nukem 3D, Virtua Tennis Challenge and Sonic CD. In the near future, the number of titles will start to grow steadily, since PowerA is already in talks with the world's largest computer and video game publishers.
PowerA is not going to be limited to the Android operating system and plans to port the MOGA experience to iOS and Windows Phones in the future. The official cost and the date of the start of sales of the controller are unknown, but the fact that the novelty will be sold during the Christmas holidays is obvious.
